Eczema

Dermatitis is a general term that refers to inflammation of the skin, characterised by redness, swelling, itching, and sometimes blistering or peeling. It encompasses a range of skin conditions, including atopic dermatitis (eczema), contact dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, and stasis dermatitis. It is a common condition that has many causes and occurs in many forms, and usually involves itchy, dry skin or a rash on swollen, reddened skin. Dermatitis may also cause the skin to blister, ooze, crust or flake off, but can be eased by using antihistamines and avoiding irritants.
