- A BMI of 30 or higher, or 25 or higher with a weight-related medical condition
- Already on weight loss medication with a BMI below these levels? You may still continue treatment with us
- First-time patients start on the lowest dose to check safety and tolerability
- Our clinicians review your medical history, current medicines and lifestyle to rule out anything that makes treatment unsuitable

How it works in the body
How GLP-1 weight loss medications work
GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) medicines copy a hormone your gut releases after eating. They slow how quickly your stomach empties, reduce appetite and help regulate blood sugar, so you feel full sooner and for longer.

Also targets a second hormone receptor, GIP, as well as GLP-1. This dual action may make it particularly effective for weight loss.
Semaglutide
Wegovy

Weight loss questions
We prescribe Mounjaro, Wegovy injections, the Wegovy Pill and Foundayo. Which one is right for you depends on your health assessment, and your clinician makes the final decision.
You'll usually need a BMI of 30 or more, or 25 or more with a weight-related condition such as type 2 diabetes or high blood pressure. If you're already on treatment and your BMI is now below these levels, you may still be able to continue.
You complete a short online questionnaire. A prescriber reviews your medical history and health information, and if treatment is approved, your medication is delivered to you.
All weight loss medication is sent in temperature-controlled packaging. Delivery is free for Mounjaro, the Wegovy Pill and Foundayo, and £5.95 for Wegovy injections. We use DPD and Royal Mail as our couriers, depending on your location and the product ordered.
If you're new to weight loss medication, you'll start on the lowest dose. Your dose is reviewed and increased gradually over time if appropriate.
Yes. If you're already on a GLP-1 medication such as Mounjaro or Wegovy, complete the online consultation and our clinical team will review your current medication, dose and history so you can continue safely.
No. You can order one pen at a time whenever you need to. If you subscribe to single Mounjaro or Wegovy pens, you save £10 to £31 on every pen. Subscriptions need a minimum of two orders before you can cancel.
