Company and regulatory information
SwiftDoctor is a UK online clinic and pharmacy based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. We provide private consultations, prescriptions, medicines and blood tests, with a focus on weight management, menopause, men's health and everyday conditions. This page sets out who runs the service, who is responsible for your care, and how you can check each of our registrations for yourself.
Who we are
SwiftDoctor is operated by SwiftDoctor Ltd, a private limited company registered in England and Wales, company number 16019383, incorporated on 15 October 2024. Our registered office, pharmacy and prescribing premises are all at Unit 20, Appleton Court, Wakefield, WF2 7AR.
The company was founded and is run by its two directors, Dr Saira Bano, a GP, and Nasir Ali, a pharmacist independent prescriber.
How the service works
Two regulated activities sit behind every prescription order, and they are overseen by different regulators.
1. Prescribing – regulated by the Care Quality Commission
When you complete an online consultation or book an appointment, it is reviewed by one of our prescribers. Our prescribing service is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England, as provider 1-20400035914. We are registered for the regulated activities of treatment of disease, disorder or injury, and diagnostic and screening procedures.
Our CQC Registered Manager and Lead Prescriber is Dr Saira Bano, GMC 7155766.
The CQC has not yet inspected or rated the service. When it does, we will publish the outcome here and link to the report.
2. Dispensing – regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council
Once a prescription has been issued, it is dispensed by SwiftDoctor pharmacy, registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) under premises number 9012809. The GPhC inspected the pharmacy on 3 March 2026 and found that all standards were met.
Our Superintendent Pharmacist is Nasir Ali, GPhC 2075569. The Superintendent Pharmacist is personally accountable to the GPhC for the safe running of the pharmacy.

Every medicine we supply is licensed for use in the UK by the MHRA and sourced from MHRA-licensed wholesalers.

If something goes wrong
