Metronidazole 400mg Tablets

Metronidazole 400mg tablets are antibiotics. Bacterial vaginosis is known to cause a change in the natural balance of bacteria living in the vagina. Metronidazole kills some of the extra bacteria that occur in BV and returns the balance of bacteria to normal. Metronidazole tablets may still be used for treating recurring bacterial vaginosis since it's not uncommon for BV to recur within three months after treatment.
